SOFTBALL BC UMPIRE
INCIDENT & EJECTION REPORT
Use the form below to submit an incident and/or ejection report.
Submit a separate report for each person ejected.
Reports should be submitted as soon as possible after the incident (no later than 24 hours).
Tracking ejected participants is important for several reasons:
-
Game Safety: Ejections can be a result of dangerous or unsportsmanlike behavior, tracking these individuals ensures the safety of other players and coaches on the field.
-
Discipline: Ejections are a form of discipline for unacceptable behavior, tracking them helps to maintain the integrity of the game and ensure fair play.
-
Record Keeping: Keeping track of ejections allows for proper record keeping, which can be used for disciplinary hearings or appeals.
-
Prevent Repeat Offenses: By tracking ejected individuals, Softball BC can monitor repeat offenders and take appropriate action to prevent future incidents.
-
Fairness: Knowing who has been ejected can help ensure fairness by preventing ejected individuals from continuing to participate in the game, giving an advantage to the opposing team.
Once a report is submitted, the Provincial Umpire-in-Chief will review the form and forward it to your DUIC.
You may be contacted if further information is required.
